Payment For Services Rendered
Policy
It is the policy to request that patients treated pay for services not covered by insurance, applicable co-pays or deductions prior to, during, or immediately following treatment.
Purpose
To establish a mechanism for patients to pay for services provided Greater Waterbury Management Resources, Inc. prior to, during, or immediately following services rendered.
Procedure
Self-pay patients, as well as those patients where co-pays are clearly indicated on their insurance cards will be requested to pay for services immediately following treatment.
At no time will a patient be refused treatment solely on the basis on the patient's inability to pay for services rendered.
In such instances that the patient has identified themselves as not able to meet the payment obligations due to extended care, amount of the charge, etc., Greater Waterbury Management Resources, Inc. will negotiate a payment plan suitable to both the patient and the facility. |
